FAMILY COUNSELING

Hands.jpg

Family patterns can become debilitating without a neutral person to offer a new perspective. I approach families both as a group of unique individuals and as a complex system. Each family member presents with their own needs that may complement or contradict with the family's values overall. The goals of therapy vary depending on the family's story. Typically sessions involve learning to understand each other more fully, practicing healthier forms of communication, assertiveness training, building trust, and setting goals.
